Hey there

Hey, I’m Tino. I'm a self-taught designer, living in Berlin. I love turning ideas into useful, beautiful and simple digital experiences.

I stumbled into design during my years at Apple Retail, where I worked as a Software Trainer giving workshops for Apple’s products and apps. Using those tools in my day-to-day work, I realized how much detail went into the products and how carefully the visuals were crafted. That’s when my hunger for design and beautifully designed products was set free. I gave myself the challenge to upload a new design every week on design platforms to receive feedback, and six months later I got hired by the first agency I worked with, starting my design career as a UI design freelancer back in 2016.

Freelance work eventually evolved into getting a full-time design role, and I left Apple to help startups like Mobimeo (Deutsche Bahn) and JustWatch with UI design, branding, and product strategy. I also strengthened my skills by working with design agencies like MING Labs and Edenspiekermann, collaborating on a wide range of projects, from mobile to web, with a strong focus on visual product design, storytelling, animation, and design systems.

Currently at Babbel, I help shape product vision and strategy by ideating, prototyping, and evaluating new concepts. With a keen eye for details I take rough, abstract concepts and translate them into creative and useful product experiences.

When I’m not working, I’m either spending time with my family, "vibe designing" with AI, playing guitar, or writing jokes. Always looking for inspiration and learning something new.
